Arthrosis, a degenerative joint disease, represents one of the most common conditions affecting adults. In the Czech Republic, up to 1.5 million people suffer from this condition. Despite this, no fully effective treatment has yet been found.
One of the few options for halting or at least slowing the progression of degenerative joint disease is the activation of the remaining cartilage cells and restoration of the natural joint environment.
Stimulation of cartilage cells using the Cellular Matrix preparation — blood plasma combined with hyaluronic acid — is suitable for all stages of arthrosis, including chondropathy. How the Treatment Works
Blood plasma is obtained from the patient's own blood. A small amount of blood is first collected (a routine venous blood draw), which is immediately processed in a specialised tube that already contains hyaluronic acid. Using Swiss technology, up to 90% of the platelets contained in the blood sample are extracted. The platelet-rich plasma combined with hyaluronic acid is ready for application within approximately 10 minutes. The application is performed in the same manner as a standard joint injection.
