This is a non-chemical, natural method that promotes and activates the subcutaneous tissue, which under normal circumstances gradually thins and, with advancing age, manifests on the skin as a loss of elasticity and the formation of wrinkles.
Benefits of Platelet-Rich Plasma Skin Rejuvenation
- we use a closed system for blood plasma processing with a declared count of rejuvenating cells
- a gentle method that harnesses the potential of the body's own resources
- we have extensive long-term clinical experience with this procedure
- can be combined with other regenerative methods
How Autologous Platelet-Rich Plasma Skin Rejuvenation Works
During platelet-rich plasma (PRP) rejuvenation, the skin cells in the subcutaneous tissue are stimulated. The application is performed using mesotherapy (injection of active substances into the middle layer of the skin via microneedles). A topical anaesthetic ointment is used to ensure a painless procedure. The ointment is applied to the skin as a localised wrap prior to the administration of platelet-rich plasma and growth factors. Venous blood is drawn from the antecubital fossa (in the same manner as a routine blood draw). Processing of the blood using a specialised device takes approximately 10 minutes. The entire procedure, including application, takes around 60 minutes.
Prior to the procedure, it is necessary to attend a complimentary consultation with an experienced physician specialising in dermatology, who will explain the entire process in detail, perform a skin assessment, and recommend further steps as appropriate.
Following application, regenerative processes are initiated. At the same time, further skin ageing is slowed and collagen production is stimulated. The rejuvenating process occurs through the stimulation of skin cells, which regenerate thanks to the body's own growth factors, acting as a vitamin boost. Just a few days after the procedure, the skin appears firmer, smoother, and more radiant.
Who Is Suitable for Autologous Platelet-Rich Plasma Skin Rejuvenation
Plasma skin treatment is suitable for clients who wish to slow down the ageing process, at virtually any age. The best results are achieved in patients under the age of 40. To stimulate skin cells, the rejuvenation procedure can be performed on the face, hands, and décolletage. For optimal results, it is recommended to repeat the application three times.
Post-Treatment Care After Autologous Plasma Skin Rejuvenation
Plasma skin rejuvenation is performed on an outpatient basis and does not interfere with your daily activities. Your dermatologist will carefully guide you through all stages of the treatment and provide further tips to maximise the effectiveness of the procedure.
